IKEA
I put it together by myself and I was not nearly as upset as the little IKEA guy.
Funny moments in stereotypes
I was waiting for a delivery from IKEA, and when the guys came to deliver this small but funny interaction took place:
IKEA guy (attempting to make small talk): So what’s up, you’re not watching the game?
I have no TV right now.
Me: Nope
Delivery guy looks over at computer and sees World of Warcraft on the screen, and the other two computers I have on the desk.
IKEA guy: Oh.
Goes back to dropping off boxes.
I wanted to explain that I’m not a total non-sports person, but by then they were gone. That gave me a chuckle though.
All good things must come to an end…
And with that, the time of snow and ice is officially here. I for one welcome our new snowy overlord and look forward to trying to make the best of it this year. However, I am getting a little bummed at the realization that it will be a long while before I can ride my bike comfortable again. I mean, I can ride right now but it’s more of a battle than simply enjoying the freedom of the bike. This week should be interesting re-acclimating myself to snow and getting my penguin walk back.
